Here are the best recipes to start a great night:
1. Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail
It just takes two ingredients to make a colorful splash at holiday parties..
Just pour the pomegranate juice into a champagne flute. Slowly add champagne. Garnish with pomegranate seeds (optional but fancy). Serve immediately.
2. Raspberry-Champagne Fizz
Place raspberries in a champagne flute. Pour fruit syrup into flute. Slowly add champagne. Serve immediately.
3. Sparkling Golden Sangria
This champagne cocktail recipe calls for basil and mint leaves for touches of green color and fresh flavor.
In a large pitcher or glass jar combine grape juice, orange liqueur, sugar, and honey, stirring until sugar and honey dissolve. Stir in nectarine, orange, cherries, raspberries, basil, and mint. Chill mixture for 1 hour or up to 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Just before serving, add sparkling wine to fruit mixture. Serve in glasses over ice.
4. The Paysan
In a pitcher, combine the wine, juices and Chambord; refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours. Stir well and pour into ice-filled white wine glasses. Top each drink with 1/2 ounce Sprite and garnish with the zests.
In a large container combine orange juice concentrate, limeade concentrate, and water. Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours. Just before serving, carefully add the pink Champagne. To serve, transfer mixture to 2 large pitchers. Add Strawberry Ice Cubes to each glass before serving.
6. Sparkling Margarita
In a cocktail shaker combine half of the tequila, lime juice and agave nectar with plenty of ice. Shake for 5 seconds and strain the mixture into three glasses. Repeat with remaining tequila, juice, and agave nectar. Top each serving with sparkling wine. Add a lime peel strip. Add additional lime juice to taste.
Pour cognac (or another brandy) and Grand Marnier into a champagne flute, top up with brut champagne or a reasonable facsimile thereof (no need to go overboard in terms of quality, but you don’t want something that you could use in a vapor degreaser, either).
We hope that you will make great cocktails with our suggestions!
